Center of Visualization Göteborg is a membership organisation managed by Business Region Göteborg and Chalmers University of Technology. Center of Visualization Göteborg is one of three national Knowledge Arenas within the network VISARD, Visualisation - Arenas for Research and Development.

VisNetA — Visualization and virtual reality networks alliance

Laval Mayenne Technopole (LMT), Virtual Dimension Center Fellbach (VDC) and Center of Visualization (CoV) are all willing to take part as co-founders of the network VisNetA — Visualization and virtual reality networks alliance. VisNetA should be a triangle cooperation, limited to the three founders during the first two years of cooperation. The three organizations will hereinafter be referred to collectively as the "Parties".

Objectives of the Network:


The main objectives of the Network are to improve the economical development of our network, to develop the visibility of European VR companies, research labs and academics, to strengthen the development and usages of visualization, virtual and augmented reality.

Scope of cooperation


The Parties agree to facilitate co-operation, collaborate and encourage the exchange of information in the field of visualization, virtual and augmented reality, in a manner suitable to each party interests and ability and on the basis of equality, reciprocity and mutual benefit.

The Parties agree to focus on the following areas of common interest and cooperation, which shall include, but not be limited to:

Knowledge sharing
o Markets - share knowledge and information about geographical markets

o Technologies - share knowledge and information about existing and new and emerging technologies related to visualization and virtual reality.

o General cluster management - share knowledge about general cluster management, policies and best practice. Spread information among the parties regarding funding and project possibilities. Enhance consulting capabilities.

• Marketing
o Cross-marketing of activities and members - support the other parties by spreading information about activities, events and news.

o Co-organization of events

Contact knowledge base
o Provide contacts to our members for international activitiesContact sharing between partner organizations - share contacts to our members respectively ( requires approval by members)

o Match making: help our members to develop collaborative projects or business activities

• Long term strategy: Growth of Alliance

o Identify a European project to find sources of funding to further develop our alliance

o Invite other VR actors to integrate our alliance (eg. Italy, Great Britain etc.)

To better implement the content of this Action Plan, all Parties shall designate a prime contact responsible for the VisNetA contacts. Planning of activities shall be decided and accepted by all Parties on an annual basis through a face to face meeting. Costs related to activities above will be borne by the Party that has incurred the costs.
